Anthurium Andreanum are shade loving plants that grow from Far North Queensland all the way down to Victoria and South Australia. Many magnificent colours ranging from pure white through green and orange to bright red. This variety in colour and its ability to grow flowers over 6 inches in size, means that Andreanums are the main anthuriums grown for the cut flower market.
The foliage is also sought after by florists for its lush green colour and heart shape. New foliage is red, changing to dark green as it matures.

Anthurium Andreanum Nitta
Nitta is one of the most attractive anthuriums around. The spathe is a brilliant fanta orange colour and spadix changes from yellow to white as the flower matures. Leaves are long and heart shaped and dark green in colour. Produces suckers well and flowers will get to over 6 inches in size as the plant matures. Magnificent long lasting cut flower. Anthurium Andreanum Kandy
Spectacular pink flower with spathe that turns from pink to purple as the flower matures. This flower is particularly interesting as the outside (flower underside when open) is white making for a brilliant display and variety of colour on the plants. Leaves are long and heart shaped and dark green in colour. Produces suckers well and flowers will get to over 6 inches in size as the plant matures. Magnificent long lasting cut flower. Anthurium Andreanum Kandy Stripe
Spectacular pale pink flower with spathe that turns from pink to purple as the flower matures. Similar to Kandy, this flower is unique as the edges of the spathe curl under when the flower is fully open and at certain times during the year the spathe develops darker pink lines along the veins. Andreanum Marian Seaforth
Marian Seaforth is an attractive pink anthurium. The rounded spathe is a delicate pink colour and the spadix which changes from yellow to white as the flower matures, is thinner than usual giving it a very delicate feel. Andreanum Kaumana has a spathe that is blood red and spadix that changes from orange to white as the flower matures. Andreanum Madame Butterfly (Mickey Mouse)
Mickey has a spathe which is fire engine red and spadix changes from yellow to white as the flower matures. It is one of the smaller anthuriums that we grow with flowers that reach around 4 inches. Flower has a distinct butterfly shape and the ears are usually tinged with green. During the cooler months the green ears become much more pronounced and often the tail of the flower will elongate and also turn green. Great as a cut flower, the different shape flower and green tones make it a must for any collection.

Andreanum Calypso
Calypso has a cup or tulip shaped spathe that is hot pink in colour. The spadix changes from pink to purple as the flowers mature. Calypso as well as being grown for it's attractive flower, is also grown for the magnificent rounded heart shaped foliage. Calypso flowers well throughout the year and the flowers will get to over 6 inches in length. Grows from Cairns down to Victoria and all spots in between.

Andreanum Toothpaste
Toothpaste has a narrow cup or tulip shaped spathe that is a magnificent lavender colour. The spadix changes from dark to light lavender as the flowers mature. Toothpaste is one of the few anthuriums we grow that have a distinct smell - when the flower is first cut it smells minty fresh like toothpaste!! As well as being grown for it's attractive flower, toothpaste also has magnificent rounded heart shaped foliage. Fantastic flowering plant that grows from Cairns down to Victoria and all spots in between.
