All prices listed on the website are for the bare rooted stock. We use bare rooted rizomes for several reason, firstly because of ease of shipping and secondly because for most of the year heliconia and ginger rhizomes will strike very easily and send out a new shoot within about 6 weeks of planting. The Anthuriums are also bare rooted with where possible a new flower coming through so that you get to see straight away that you got what you wanted. By minimising the size and weight of the items to be shipped we are able to maintain reasonable prices for shipping which we can pass onto our customers. We do have many of the plants available in pots as well but tend to supply these as local pickup or delivery. For shippingas well but we would need to work out shipping charges depending on where in Australia they needed to be shipped.
